JSI Platinum Series Holder With “Quick Change Cap” (Patent Pending):
The Platinum Series Holder is a revolutionary new approach to slitter section maintenance. It is by far the fastest and safest method of exchanging slitter blades. With no tools, and the simple push of a button, the machine operator can exchange blades in a matter of seconds. With no wrenches or tools to slip, the chance of injures are greatly reduced. The blades are mechanically held on to the cartridge and are released when pneumatic pressure is applied to the holder. This is a safety feature designed into the Platinum holder, so that if air pressure drops, or is completely lost during operation; the integrity of the holder is preserved. Further safety features built into the custom made pneumatic valve included bypass that will not let the slitter release feature to be used while the slitter is in the engaged position. This prevents an operator from accidentally engaging the slitter release function while the slitter is in operation.
